An unofficial study done by one Certified Chemical Addiction Counselor stated if you could keep your teen from using drugs by the time they were 17 you had an 87% chance of keeping them from drug addiction.  These types of statistics are promising on an individual level.

Drug abuse help often only comes after experiencing unwanted consequences involving legal problems and quite often unforeseen health problems, pregnancy and sometime death. Teenage drug abuse and underage drinking costing the nation billions of dollars annually it would seem efforts would be taken to prevent this and offer teen drug abuse help and education as a mandatory effort.

In many states getting drug abuse help means going to a drug abuse help center that offers more drugs as a solution to any depression or anxiety issues. Often electroshock therapy is suggested which by the way is 5 billion dollar a year profit to the psychiatric industry.

Drug abuse help comes in effective education and basically a sort of new outlook on life. Drug use was at one time providing a solution to an unwanted problem, so the solution to getting effective drug abuse help would help one handle that problem and gain enough ground so as to make relapsing back to drug abuse as a silly nonsensical solution. In other words, increasing one’s ability and overcoming life’s obstacles without using drugs as a solution.
